My Flower art print celebrates joy, colour and the little things that make life lovely, especially the flowers we see so often that we sometimes forget to stop and notice them.
The idea for this painting arrived fully formed in my mind. A little unusual, perhaps, but I knew I wanted to bring it to life: a lollipop shaped flower made up of lots of smaller flowers, with a ladybird, butterfly and bee adding their own little touches of life and character.
The original found its home before I had even finished painting it. A customer fell in love with it while it was still in progress, and her husband reserved it for her, ready for when it was complete. That made this joyful painting feel all the more special.
I’m so pleased to share it as an art print, bringing a little of that colour and happiness into other homes. My hope is that whenever you look at it, it reminds you to pause, take your time and enjoy the simple things. There is so much to notice when we stop for a moment.
My open edition prints are reproduced from my original artwork and printed locally in small batches by Print North East.
Available in four sizes: A5, A4, A3 and 50 × 70 cm.
