Autumnal~ Window suncatcher

Autumn is my favourite season because of the colours, the warmth, the golden light and I wanted to capture all of that in this window-shaped suncatcher.

I hand paint every one of my Autumnal window suncatchers here in my North East studio, filling the glass with a beautiful variety of autumn foliage: fallen leaves, acorns, and all those rich amber, russet and golden tones that make this time of year so special.

The window shape makes it feel like a little seasonal scene all of its own and when the light shines through, it truly comes alive. Hang it in a window at home and let autumn glow in your space all year round.
