Kelly has loved wildlife since she was a child and this has emerged in her artwork in recent years - she's become a bit obsessed with painting a range of birds and animals!
Kelly decided to create a series of paintings with five of her favourite creatures set in spring and autumn because she loves the new life and glorious vibrant colours of both seasons. Badger in Autumn was inspired by one of Kelly's lovely customers who commissioned a lamp featuring a badger. While painting it, Kelly was enchanted by the gentle but striking looking creature; and they've featured heavily in her work ever since.
