This 'Barn Owls in Green' glass table lamp with its fabric shade was individually selected, designed and hand-painted by Kelly Morgan, so it is one of a kind. As with all her work, she painted the Barn owl design freehand, using outliner to build texture, adding colour, a layer at a time, it features two barn owls nestled in green textured foliage.
Kelly has felt an emotional connection to owls for as long as she can remember - she has a strong memory of her Mam knitting her a woolly owl of her very own when she was little. Kelly loves the character and beauty of owls; they never fail to bring a smile to her face. As a result they have featured prominently in her work, especially since a visit to Kielder Bird of Prey Centre where she held a tiny owl in her hands.
